The Journey Begins

We left Brisbane at 9pm. We took hours to finally leave Australian airspace (the tracking map tells such a great story). 14 hours of flying equated to 3 movies, 2 and a half meal breaks (still can’t work out what the 3am meal was) and a couple of naps. A long trip but we arrived in Dubai at 5am (Dubai time). Our transfer was ready so we braved the oppressive heat for a few minutes and headed to our accommodation for a much-needed sleep.
